DEPA Corporate Policy
The corporate policy applies to the entire company of DEPA Gesellschaft für Kranauslegerbauteile mbH.
Prologue:
With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing steel structures for crane boom components and lifting technology using high-strength fine-grained steels with individual weights of up to 20 tons, DEPA GmbH has become a recognized authority in the lifting industry. This position not only demands a pursuit of economic success but also entails responsibility towards all interested parties and sustainability.
Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. Our aim is to be better than our competitors, with meeting customer expectations being the minimum standard. This is characterized by integrated and cross-functional processes systematically interconnected.
To implement our corporate policy, we adhere to the requirements of standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001, DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001, DIN EN ISO 45001, and DIN EN ISO 5001.
The planning, implementation, control, and continuous improvement of our operations, in line with these standards, ensure that company processes align with our corporate policy. Our challenge is to meet the increasing expectations of our customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders, authorities, and other interested parties.
The annual evaluation of the effectiveness of all corporate processes, conducted by management as well as through internal and external audits, ensures that customer satisfaction, legal requirements, and our responsibility towards employees, society, the environment, and other interested parties are considered in both current and future goals.
The corporate policy applies to every employee of the company. Management and every leader within the company are committed to supporting this policy through their daily actions as role models. We maintain an open and trustworthy dialogue with employees, customers, suppliers, and all other interested parties.
Corporate Policy:
Customer Orientation:
Meeting customer needs is our top priority and thus determines the prioritization of tasks for our managers and employees. The customer not only sets the standards for the quality of our products but also drives the optimization of our production methods, continuous investments in modern facilities and machinery, and the further development of our employees.
The economic efficiency of a product, in conjunction with customer satisfaction derived from technical execution and quality, both individually and collectively, is indispensable for long-term, trusting cooperation. As specialists in manufacturing large and complex components, we see it as our task and challenge to question the status quo and, through continuous improvement, develop forward-thinking solutions for all our customers as a reliable partner.
Employee Orientation:
A positive perception of the work environment, motivation, safety awareness, and the personal and professional development of every employee are fundamental prerequisites for the future-oriented development of the company. Every employee must be aware of their importance in achieving the set goals.
Every employee contributes to the realization of our quality, energy, and environmental policies, as well as the adherence to safety and health regulations. The pursuit of continuous improvement of existing processes is, therefore, the responsibility of every employee, from the shop floor to management. Through training in quality awareness, environmental protection, occupational safety, health, energy awareness, and data security, we guide our employees toward responsible action.
All managers serve as natural role models to embody these values with appropriate priority.
Compliance:
Respect for human rights, labor standards, adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and environmental protection are the pillars of our corporate culture.
We unconditionally reject child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, bribery, extortion, and corruption of any kind. We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe work environment for our employees and expect our managers to value their employees. We offer a secure and future-oriented workplace and expect great commitment from all those employed with us.
Innovation Orientation:
Since the company was founded in 1997, innovation has been the driving force behind our growth and success. This includes not only innovations in the form of investments in new facilities, buildings, and machinery but also innovative adjustments to our process flows, aligned with constantly changing market and working conditions.
Our primary focus is on optimally fulfilling customer needs. The continuous review and improvement of our management and manufacturing processes serve to secure the company’s economic efficiency and sustainable practices. The foundation for this is the trusting cooperation of all employees and the assumption of responsibility for achieving our goals.
Quality Orientation:
The key to long-term economic success lies in the competence, commitment, flexibility, willingness to continuously improve, and consistently structured work methods of every manager and employee.
Ensuring consistently high quality, in line with our customers’ requirements, as well as preventive and conscious error avoidance, is always at the forefront. Error prevention takes precedence over error correction. Every employee is, in their process, the guarantor of the quality of their work.
Proactive risk assessment and responsible action, coupled with worker self-inspection and an open error culture, are intended to help identify, analyze, and effectively eliminate the causes of errors in products or processes at an early stage.
This applies from the receipt of raw materials, tools, and other purchased parts to the delivery of the product, including documentation. Our goal is to deliver only components that meet customer requirements.
Environmental Orientation:
Compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations should set the framework for every employee’s daily tasks. Through our management system, we ensure that tasks at all operational levels contribute to sustainable environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources.
The integration of environmental aspects into our daily decisions, considering proportionality, and the consideration of environmental impacts during restructuring and investments are important requirements for us. Every employee is obligated to participate in avoiding unnecessary waste and pollutants, as well as any environmental hazards or wastefulness.
We see it as a binding obligation to review and evaluate our environmental aspects, thereby identifying areas for action.
Energy Orientation:
We are committed to responsible and economical energy management. In addition to complying with relevant laws and regulations regarding energy procurement and the efficient use of our facilities and machinery, our company is committed to continuously improving energy efficiency, taking economic aspects into account.
The energy team supports all relevant departments in this effort. All measures, goals, and metrics related to energy efficiency development are analyzed by the energy team and, if necessary, adjusted in collaboration with the respective departments. We see the review of energy aspects as a binding obligation.
The evaluation of results is conducted in the annual management review by the executive board. Every employee is required to participate in measures to reduce energy consumption.
Data Protection Orientation:
Data protection and cybersecurity are becoming increasingly important. Our company considers compliance with laws, other legal norms, and customer requirements as a matter of course.
We also apply the KV process in this area and review requirements that arise from current developments. Every employee who has access to DEPA data is obligated to handle it responsibly and to comply with the relevant guidelines.
Epilogue:
The aforementioned points form the foundation of our daily work. We strive to consider the needs of all interested parties and thus ensure sustainable action. To this end, we continuously advance the KV process in all areas of the company.
